My neighbor installed a motion-activated light to scare away burglars, so I waved at it every time I walked past. After a week, he finally confronted me and said the light was meant to detect suspicious movement. I told him it was working perfectly—I’m suspicious of anyone who installs a spotlight and then watches from behind the curtains.
