The Helpful Representative

I called customer service to complain that my new vacuum cleaner had stopped working. The representative asked me to check whether it was plugged in, so I did—and discovered I had been trying to vacuum the house with the television remote. She still transferred me to technical support, because apparently the remote was the only thing in the house with a warranty.
